Plymouth County Man First Human Case Of West Nile In Massachusetts This Year
BOSTON (CBS) – Massachusetts has its first human case of West Nile Virus this year.

A man in his 70's from Plymouth County was diagnosed in late August, the state Department of Public Health announced Monday afternoon.
The man, who has not been identified, is still in the hospital, but he is recovering, according to DPH.
Investigators are still trying to figure out where the man was exposed to infected mosquitoes.
Thirty-three people were infected with West Nile in 2012.
Symptoms usually include fever and flu-like sickness.
Just last week, health officials announced that an 85-year-old Weymouth woman died from Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE).
