Pleasantly Surprised By Today...

I never like being wrong but when you are forecasting a cloudy and somewhat cool day and you end up with a sun-filled and warm one...well, I'll take the lump for the trade-off!

Tomorrow won't be so kind to us.  A coldfront will be marching through in the early afternoon this will be loaded with showers and downpours...also, thunderstorms parameters will creep up preceding the passage and there will be a small threat tomorrow afternoon.  In the morning, a flow of warm and muggy air will keep temps in the lower 60s and allow for dewpoints to spike into the 50s.

The whole storm system will get caught by a cutting-off upper-level low and park itself over the Pine Tree State spinning cooler temps and more showers our way for Thursday.

Friday through Mother's Day Weekend appear pretty good.  There will be troughiness over the Northeast so while I'd like to say that showers will be ruled out completely, I can't and there is probably about a 30% chance for scattered showers to bubble up in the daytime heating on both Saturday and Sunday.
