Plane Lands At Logan Airport After Small Engine Fire
BOSTON (AP) — A Dubai-to-Boston flight with 367 passengers and crew members aboard has been grounded at Logan International Airport after an engine fire that officials say was quickly extinguished when the plane landed.
Massport said a flame was seen coming from an engine of the Emirates Boeing 777-300 after it landed at 2 p.m. Sunday on its flight from the United Arab Emirates.
The fire was put out and the plane was towed to the gate, where the 349 passengers disembarked.
Flight 237 also carried 18 crew members.
