Pierce Raffling Off Suite To Celtics-Knicks Game
BOSTON (CBS) -Celtics Captain Paul Pierce is offering up his suite to some lucky fans.
Pierce is raffling off a package that includes 12 tickets to his luxury suite to the Celtics regular season finale against the New York Knicks on April 13 at the TD Garden. The package also includes a basketball autographed by Pierce, $500 toward food and beverages, and a cash payment to mitigate the winner's tax liability.
Tickets are $2 each with a minimum purchase of five and can be purchased at www.netraffle.org. Proceeds will go to Pierce's "Truth On Health Campain."
"I am thrilled to offer my fans a chance to sit in my suite while helping to raise funds to support my Truth on Health Campaign," Pierce said in a release. "It is critical for kids to understand that staying active and eating healthy are the keys to leading a happy and fulfilling life, and all of the funds we raise will help give kids the tools and information they need to make healthier lifestyle choices."
