Phantom Gourmet: Mission Bar And Grill
BOSTON (CBS) - If the assignment is to find the ultimate neighborhood restaurant, then at the Mission Bar and Grill, it's mission accomplished.
Located in Boston's Mission Hill neighborhood, Mission Bar and Grill has everything you want in a great local spot.
General Manager Brian Beattie says The Mission really is the kind of neighborhood restaurant that can be whatever you want it to be.
"We're definitely a place where you can come have a burger and beer, or just an appetizer and a couple drinks at the bar. But you can also come here and have a nice dinner," said Beattie.
So if you want some over-sized hand breaded chicken tenders or a giant plate of nachos topped with all the good stuff, they've got it.
But, if you're looking for risotto fritters stuffed with goat cheese or gnocchi tossed with shrimp, chorizo, and sweet peas, they've got that too.
And it's all served up in an inviting dining room dominated by high ceilings, big windows, and exposed brick.
