Phantom Gourmet: Eight/10 Bar And Grill In Everett

EVERETT (CBS) - Here are three things you need to know about the Eight/10 Bar and Grill.

(1) Every meal starts with a basket of fresh baked rolls that are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.

When Richard opened the restaurant about five years ago in the heart of Everett Square, he instantly created the kind of neighborhood restaurant that keeps customers coming back night after night.

"It's a top quality meal at a very low price. But we can do that in Everett," said Richard.

There are piled high burgers like bacon and blue cheese served with sweet potato fries, old school classics like American Chop Suey and seafood favorites like fried calamari or steamed mussels.

Also, there's an enormous mixed grill featuring steak tips, turkey tips, and sweet Italian sausage served with two sides, and homemade BBQ sauce, for less than $15.
