Phantom Gourmet Checks Out Regal Beagle In Brookline
BOSTON (CBS) - A lot of families will be taking their dads out Sunday for Father's Day.
The Phantom Gourmet recently visited a neighborhood restaurant that's a good choice for Father's Day or any other day.
Imagine a meal that starts with bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with gorgonzola, and then moves on to mac and cheese with a Ritz cracker crust and finishes with warm white chocolate bread pudding topped with cool vanilla ice cream. Also, imagine if that meal cost less than $25.

Now, stop imagining, and go get it, at the Regal Beagle. Located in Coolidge Corner in Brookline, the Regal Beagle serves upscale comfort food at downscale prices.
Owner Chris Tocchio says this place has everything you'd ever need in a great neighborhood restaurant.
Culinary director Laura Henry-Zoubir always makes sure that customers can't wait to get what's on the plate. With bar bites at about $5, appetizers around $7, and most entrees well south of $20, dinner tastes even better, when it's such a great deal.
