C Salt Wing and Bar in Falmouth serves modern American cuisine with specialties like seared New Bedford sea scallops and hand-cut fries, topped with applewood-smoked pork belly and truffle oil.
Just over the Bourne Bridge, the Bog Pub serves unexpected delights like pilsner friend pickles and a BLT with smoked eggplant aioli, and all kinds of all-American eats.
Now that it's a holiday weekend, there will be plenty of backyard barbecues, but sometimes with options like these it's best to leave the cooking to the experts.
