Man Run Over And Killed By Garbage Truck In Methuen
METHUEN (CBS) - A Dorchester man was struck and killed by a garbage truck in Methuen on Tuesday.
Keimani Bell was picking up trash on Bruce Street after 11 a.m. when he was run over by the garbage truck owned by F.W. Russell & Sons Inc. of Somerville.
The Essex DA's office says the 28-year-old victim was on the back of the moving vehicle, but he slipped and fell under the truck.
A nearby resident heard the commotion outside her home and said the truck driver asked her to call 911.

No charges have been filed against the garbage truck driver, as investigators believe it was a tragic accident.
