Woman Seriously Injured In Fall From BU Bridge Onto Storrow Drive
BOSTON (CBS) -- A 22-year-old woman was seriously injured after falling or jumping from the Boston University Bridge onto Storrow Drive on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m. on the eastbound side of Storrow Drive. The woman was conscious and alert as she was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital.
"Whether the fall was accidental or intentional remains part of an ongoing State Police investigation," Massachusetts State Police said in a statement.
All lanes on Storrow Drive have since been reopened.
