Pedroia Will Rest Another Day
Originally scheduled to return to the Red Sox lineup today, Dustin Pedroia will sit out again this afternoon when the team plays Toronto in Fort Myers, Florida. The teams training staff has told Pedroia to rest his sore wrist as a precautionary measure and he is expected to play tomorrow instead.
Pedroia originally hurt his left wrist diving for a grounder on Tuesday night against Minnesota and x-rays came back negative the next morning.
