72-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash In Somerville
SOMERVILLE (CBS) – Somverille Police are investigating a hit and run crash that left a 72-year-old Somerville man critically injured. It happened on Route 28 at Broadway just before 9 p.m. Monday.
Investigators determined the man was hit while crossing Route 28 from east to west. He was coming from the nearby Stop & Shop and was carrying several bags of groceries.
The driver did not stop after the crash, police said.
They are searching for a white minivan or SUV with front-end damage, including a damaged headlight.
