Pedestrian Killed In Mattapan Crash

BOSTON (CBS) --- One person is dead after being hit by a car in Mattapan.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Kim Tunnicliffe reports

It happened near 645 Cummins Highway Saturday night around 8:30 p.m.

Police say it was not a hit-and-run crash. No charges have been filed.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.

The Homicide Unit and Accident Reconstruction Team are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the crash.
