Man Arrested For Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In Revere
REVERE (CBS) - An East Boston man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in Revere early Monday morning, according to state police.
Forty-seven-year-old Jon Ravida allegedly was pulling out of a Hess gas station when he hit 22-year-old Sothany Pen of Revere as she was crossing Route 1A around 5:50 a.m.
She was leaving her overnight job at Target when she was struck. She was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital, where she died.
Ravida allegedly left the scene and was later arrested at his home.
He is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday.
