Pedestrian Finds Body On Street In Chelsea

CHELSEA (CBS) – Police in Chelsea are investigating the death of a woman who was found by a person walking on Saturday morning.

Chelsea police, state police and the Suffolk District Attorney's office are investigating after the woman was discovered near the intersection of Suffolk and Highland Streets at around 9:20 a.m.

Police have not identified the woman, but said she appears to be in her 20s or 30s.

No signs of trauma were found, police said, adding that the cause and manner of her death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Anyone who was in the area of Suffolk and Highland Streets late Friday night or early Saturday morning, or anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Chelsea police detectives at (617) 466-4843.
