Welker Returns To Practice
FOXBORO (CBS) – After missing practice on Wednesday, New England Patriots receiver Wes Welker was back on the field Thursday.
Welker, along with eight others, were limited Thursday afternoon.
Safety Josh Barrett (thumb), defensive end Shaun Ellis (rib), running backs Kevin Faulk (knee) and BenJarvis Green-Ellis (toe), tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), and offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back) were all limited once again.
Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was limited Thursday with a back injury after being a full participant on Wednesday.
Welker was absent on Wednesday with a neck injury he suffered in the Patriots 25-17 loss to the Steelers. He was tackled awkwardly in the fourth quarter by safety Troy Polamalu, with his neck twisting as he was brought to the ground.

He returned to practice as the team hit the field in full pads, getting ready to host the 5-2 New York Giants at Gillette on Sunday.
Welker leads the NFL with 57 receptions and is second with 824 receiving yards.
Linebacker Dane Fletcher was the only player missing on Thursday.
