Patriots Ventrone On Transactions: 'It Is Pretty Unique'
FOXBORO (CBS) - After the many transaction that he has been involved in, Ross Ventrone was one of the more popular players in the Patriots locker room on Friday.
Ventrone has been part of 15 transactions this season, all with the Patriots.
"It is pretty unique. Week to week, I just look at it at hopefully I'm going to play. I don't look at it any differently if I would be here the whole time," the safety said.

Even with all the unknown that surrounds his career, Ventrone makes sure he keeps his head up and does not get down about it.
"I don't get discouraged. I just keep working hard and everything," he said. "I know things work out the way they do sometimes, the numbers system [needing players at] different positions, and I just hope they do bring me back. They have so far. I'm just working every day to get better and better and help the team as best as I can."
And being waived, re-signed, waived, re-signed by a team like New England isn't a bad thing for the Villanova alum.
"It's unbelievable, just being on a team with these guys, coached by these coaches and stuff," Ventrone said of the Patriots. "Being part of an organization like this, that they want me around enough to keep bringing me back, is a great honor."
