Patriots Training Camp Blog: Big Cut Coming?
BOSTON (CBS) - There is a rumor circulating the Bill Belichick is going to cut either Albert Haynesworth or Chad Ochocinco to send a message to the New England Patriots locker room.
I heard this and could not believe it.
The deals the Pats have made with Chad and Albert are next to nothing. Both players have incentives built into their new contracts. The Pats need both players and it's crazy to think Belichick lost the locker room.

These kinds of rumors also came up in 2007, when the Pats acquired Randy Moss.
Gresh & Zo: Could Ocho or Haynesworth Be Cut?
I don't think this is going to happen, but let's say it does. If the Patriots need to let one of these players go to send a message, let it be Chad. Ochocinco is interesting to cover and gives the Pats another target, but Albert is a difference maker. When "on" he is one of the best in the league.
The Patriots need Haynesworth to be "on."
