Patriots Training Camp Blog: Belichick Gets Upset
FOXBORO (CBS) – The Patriots held practice outside on Tuesday, with Bill Belichick giving his team a break of sorts.
They wore shoulder pads but there was no full-contact after going through three days of heavy contact.
Belichick was in a very good mood during his press conference with the media, but turned sour on the field. He became very aggravated with his defense and got on a couple of players for lack of execution and mental mistakes while running through a play. He made them run it again, and they messed it up again, sending the Patriots coach into a bigger tizzy. It just shows you how much Belichick strives for perfection, even in practice.
When both the offense and defense took the field, they both screwed up at different times, and each unit had to run a lap.

The highlight of the day was a Tom Brady bomb to Chad Ochocinco. Ocho didn't have to even have to break stride, he just stuck out his hands and the ball fell into them.
As for the injuries, defensive end Jermaine Cunningham missed his second straight day of practice with an undisclosed injury. Defensive tackles Albert Haynesworth and Mike Wright were both absent, as well as linebacker Brandon Spikes and wide receiver Taylor Price.

Rookie running back Stevan Ridley returned to the field after hurting his right knee on Monday.
Matt Light also saw time at the end of practice with the first unit. It is questionable if he will play Thursday against the Tampa Bay Bucs, but it's good to see him starting to make strides.
The Patriots will hold a walk-through Wednesday afternoon at 1pm that is open to the public before the team departs for Tampa.
