Patriots Dedicate Season To Myra Kraft, Will Wear Jersey Patch
BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots are dedicating the 2011 NFL season to Myra Kraft.
Myra, the late wife of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, passed away July 20 after a long battle with cancer. She was 68 years old.

The Patriots will wear a patch with her initials "MHK" in blue print in a white oval on their jerseys in her honor, according to a tweet by ESPN's Sportscenter. The patch will debut Thursday night when the Patriots play the Jaguars in their first preseason game.
"Myra touched the lives of so many people," said Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork in a release. "My conversations with her were never about football. She always asked about my family and always made me feel as if I were a part of hers. By her example, she made us all want to give more and to make a positive impact in our communities. We are proud to dedicate the 2011 season to Myra Kraft."
Myra Kraft managed the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation and was president of the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, which contributed millions of dollars to charities.
To extend Myra Kraft's legacy of improving the lives of others and making an impact in our community, a fund has been established in her name at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. Those wishing to contribute to the Myra Kraft Giving Back Scholarship Fund are welcome to do so online, or by sending donations to the following address:
