Patriots Third Quarter Highs And Lows
BOSTON (CBS) – WBZ-TV's Levan Reid is breaking down the New England Patriots second preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarter-by-quarter. Here are the highs and lows from the third quarter.
The Highs:
Stevan Ridley is in as the Pats start the second half and he picks up where he left off. He picked up 47 yards on eight carries.

The Pats would get the ball back after a Ridley fumble with a Kyle Arrington interception, putting the Pats back in business. They turned it into three points.
The Lows:
Mallett threw a bad interception under pressure that was returned 69 yards for a touchdown as the Buccaneers get on the board.
The Patriots were moving the ball well but Ridley fumbled on a fourth and one.
Patriots lead 31-7 after three quarters.
