Patriots Sign WR Dickerson To Practice Squad
BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Dorin Dickerson to their practice squad, the team announced on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Dickerson is in his second year after originally being drafted out of Pittsburgh by the Houston Texans in the seventh round of 2010 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he played in seven games mainly on special teams.
He was released by the Texans in September and spent three days on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad before being released.
During his college career, Dickerson played at wide receiver, linebacker and tight end.
