BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks square off for the first time since their dramatic showdown in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night in Gillette Stadium.
You probably don't need much to get amped up for this one, after going a Sunday without Patriots football, but here are some news, notes and fun facts to hold you down until kickoff on Sunday:
- This will be the 18th meeting between the Patriots and Seahawks, with the Pats holding a 9-8 series edge.
- This is Seahawks' first visit to Gillette stadium since 2004. That's the longest current stretch between road games for a team vs New England.
