Patriots-Saints Week 6 Predictions
BOSTON (CBS) - The WBZ-TV, 98.5 The Sports Hub and WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Sports teams make their prediction for Sunday's Patriots-Saints matchup at Gillette Stadium.

This is a big one because of the problems the Saints create on offense. The Patriots have to have something up their sleeve for this one.
Based on the way the Saints play on the road this will be a tight one in the fourth quarter. But I think Brady will really play well in this one, and the Pats should come out on top with a win.

Tough one this week in dealing with Darren Sproles, the diminutive running back for the Saints. I think the Patriots' defense will be OK, they'll hold New Orleans to 21 or less, I think.
The question is will the Patriots be able to score, and if Gronk is back or not. Patriots should be able to eek out a win, but we'll see.

The Saints may be 5-0 but the Patriots are favored, and I'll tell you why.
The Patriots are returning home after a dismal 13-6 loss in Cincinnati last week. The defense is second in the league in allowing just 14 points per game, so while the Saints may come marching in with a high-flying offense, they'll be marching out with their first loss of the season.
TALE OF THE TAPE: Patriots vs. Saints
Tom Brady beat Drew Brees his senior year at Michigan, when Brees was playing at Purdue, but Brady have never beaten him in the Pros. Brady is 0-3 against his Saints' counterpart, and is due for a big game on Sunday.
As good as Brees is, Brady is better and lives for matchups like this.

I think the Patriots simply find a way to win at home. It will take a huge effort to stop Drew Brees and his high-powered offense especially with injuries to Vince Wilfork and Tommy Kelly. However, I just feel that Tom Brady will bounce back after a tough one last week at Cincinnati.

Last week, the Patriots played the worst offensive game I've seen them play in a long time. Tom Brady was way off and the running game was pushed aside. Nothing worked and the Pats left Cincinnati without a touchdown in a 13-6 loss.
Now, here come the Saints.
New Orleans is undefeated and they have a high-powered offense. It's always on the go because of Drew Brees and tight end Jimmy Graham. This season though, the Saints also have defense. Rob Ryan has stepped in and made New Orleans a smash mouth team and, unlike last year, they now get after the quarterback.

I expect the Pats defense to be on point as they have all season long, and will keep the Patriots in this game once again. But this offense still needs to score points, and that may be a struggle on Sunday.
