Gronk On T&R: Fun With A Chainsaw On Halloween

BOSTON (CBS) – Even though they fell to the Steelers on Sunday, Rob Gronkowski and the New England Patriots are not changing anything up in practice.

"If it's different that's usually not a good thing. We're preparing 100-percent to the maximum we can every week," the Patriots tight end told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich on Thursday. "We won't change that no matter if we lose or win. We feel like prepping 100-percent, practicing 100-percent, full speed and everything every week. We don't want to change that at all."

The Patriots host the New York Giants on Sunday, hoping to bounce back from the 25-17 loss in Pittsburgh. But the Giants present a whole new set of problems for the New England offense, which looked defunct at points against the Steelers.

"They're legit. They have a great pass rush and great skill players," Gronkowski said of the Giants. "We're going to have to prepare hard and be ready for them. Whatever they bring, we have to be ready for every single thing, every single situation so whatever they bring we have an answer."

Once the football talk was done, Toucher and Rich shifted to Gronkowski's Halloween night. Along with some teammates, Gronkowski, dressed in Zubaz pants and a "Scream" mask, went to a party at Wes Welker's house.

"We were just chilling having a good time, handing out candy and everything," he said. "It was cool to get together with some of the teammates, and we scared some little kids which was funny."

But the scares were not just for the kids.

"Matt Light, he was at Wes' house just scaring people with a chainsaw. Obviously he took the chain off, but he got me too,"

recalled Gronkowski. "When I walked in he had the Chainsaw Massacre mask on and came out of nowhere behind a wall; absolutely scared me. He got two feet away from me with the chainsaw."

While the Patriots were joking around at Welker's, another Gronkowski had some fun with his brother. Glenn Gronkowski, the youngest of five, tweeted out a picture of himself, shirtless, posing with a blonde female in his brother's jersey. The picture was making light of Rob's recent bye week tweet with adult film star Bibi Jones.

"He's a jokester, he's always up to something," Rob said of Glenn. " I used to always beat him up, so he's just trying to get back at me while I'm not around him."

Glenn should probably look out come Thanksgiving dinner.
