Patriots Practice Under The Lights At Gillette Stadium
FOXBORO (CBS) - The New England Patriots took the field under the lights at Gillette Stadium Wednesday night. The annual nighttime practice was open only to season ticket holders and Foxboro residents.
Over 22,000 fans were in attendance, but for the players it was just another practice. The play at times got physical and multiple skirmishes broke out.
Second-year tackle Nate Solder seemed to be an instigator in one of the scuffles down by the goal line, shoving linebacker Brandon Spikes when he was already on the ground. A pretty big group shoving match broke out after, and Solder had to run a lap.
