Patriots Practice Report: Vollmer Misses 2nd Straight Day
BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots released their first practice report of the 2011 season on Thursday, as they get ready for their season opener against the Dolphins in Miami.
Offensive Lineman Sebastian Vollmer was the only player not to participate in Thursday's practice. He missed his second straight day of practice with a back injury. He also missed the Patriots final preseason game against the Giants last week.
If Vollmer cannot go on Monday, that would likely mean the Patriots 2011 first round draft pick, rookie Nate Solder would step in in his place.

One surprise is who is not on the list. Quarterback Tom Brady isn't listed as "limited" with a "shoulder injury" for the first time in years.
