Patriots Light Happy To Help Commemorate Myra Kraft
FOXBORO (CBS) – New England Patriots offensive lineman Matt Light drew a big crowd in the Patriots locker room on Tuesday, and for good reason.
Light was the player who presented owner Robert Kraft with a special painting honoring his late wife Myra after Saturday's win over the Dolphins, something Light said everyone on the team was proud to be a part of.

"I think to each guy in this locker room, we wanted to be able to tell Mr. Kraft and his family we understand this has been a tough year and we wanted to commemorate it with something that was one of a kind and special that really talked to what we dedicated the season to, and that's Myra," said Light. "It was just a fun way, a neat way, for us to all come together and do something for him."
Matt Light On Presentation To Kraft
"You kind of forget to tell your boss you appreciate working somewhere, and this was a thing we could do, each guy, each coach, each player, (to say) that we're behind and him, what she meant to all of us and the impact that she left on all of us," said Light.
"We threw a lot of things out there, but I think having a custom painting, something that is really one of a kind that speaks to that dedication and what this organization is all about, I think that was something we all agreed on would be a neat thing to do."
Kraft was also presented with the game ball by head coach Bill Belichick.
