Patriots Introduce First Round Draft Picks
FOXBORO (CBS) - Robert and Jonathan Kraft introduced the Patriots first round draft picks to the media on Friday evening.
The Patriots moved up in the draft to select Syracuse DE Chandler Jones at No. 21. Robert Kraft said that although Jones has a brother on the Baltimore Ravens and a brother who is a UFC champ, Chandler "is the better athlete."
"This is great, this is a dream come true," Chandler said. "To have the opportunity to play for an organization like this is a dream come true."
The team acquired the 25th pick from Denver and selected Alabama linebacker Dont'a Hightower. "I don't see any organization in the NFL that could be better than this," said Hightower. Kraft said he saw Hightower play at Alabama and Coach Saban raved about him and his family.
