Patriots Inactives Include Chung, Spikes, Branch
DENVER (CBS) - The Patriots will be down a few players going into Denver.
The team has downgraded five players to "out" for the Broncos game.
S Patrick Chung, RB Shane Vereen, LB Brandon Spikes, RT Sebastian Vollmer and WR Deion Branch will all be inactive for Sunday's game.
DB Ross Ventrone has been added to the 53-man roster.
Branch did not finish Sunday's game because of a groin injury and he was limited in practice this week.
Without Branch, the storyline will be who will pick up his slack. Tiquan Underwood and Chad Ochocinco are the likely candidates.
Also Julian Edelman and Matthew Slater are wide receivers on the roster but the Pats have been using both of them for special teams and defense.
