Patriots' Gronkowski Takes Orders At Foxboro Dunkin' Donuts
BOSTON (CBS) – If you happen to make your morning coffee stop at the Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Foxboro, you may have noticed a different server at the drive-thru window on Tuesday.
That's because New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was manning the window, all part of the new two-year sponsorship he signed with the company on Tuesday.
Gronk served customers their coffee, signed a few cups, and made sure everyone "Gronked" (honked their horn) if they love Dunkin'.
"It was a pleasure. It was a blast out there," Gronkowski said after putting in a hard days work. "I met one customer that said they had a puppy named 'Gronk' so that was pretty cool. I did a couple of signatures on the cups; a lot of people were happy going through the drive-thru and it was a blast being out there."

Gronkowski joins a long list of Patriots players who have previously endorsed Dunkin' Donuts, including Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Tedy Bruschi and Adam Vintateri. As part of the sponsorship, Gronkowski will make appearances to promote new products and appear in the famous TV and Radio ads the company runs.

As for Gronkowski himself, he is slowly getting better from a high ankle sprain that hampered him during Super Bowl XLVI and required surgery shortly after. He is still wearing a boot on his left foot, but said he is getting better by the day.
"It's great. I'm like 6 ½ weeks [after] the surgery… just getting better every day; taking it week by week, day by day," said Gronkowski. "I'm walking around now and everything is on pace and hopefully I'm 100-percent when it comes down to the time I'm supposed to be."

"I feel way better than last week, way better than the first day of the surgery. It's coming along really well," he said.
The Patriots have been very active this offseason, adding wide receivers Brandon Lloyd, Anthony Gonzalez and Donte Stallworth on the offensive end. While Gronk carried most of the offensive load with a record 17 touchdowns in 2011, he certainly welcomes the new editions to Tom Brady's arsenal.

"Those are all great players and I'm excited to meet all the guys coming in," Gronkowski said. "It's always great to get guys on your team that want to work hard and help the team out."
