Gronkowski Gives Kid $100 For Lemonade At Super Bowl

BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is making the rounds down in New Orleans, and making some friends in the process.

Upon leaving the CBS Sports section of Radio Row in New Orleans on Thursday, Gronkowski found a young boy selling lemonade. The boy asked Gronkowski if he would buy a cup, and the likely-parched Gronk obliged.

But he paid a little bit more than face value for the lemonade. Gronkowski slipped the kid a $100 bill, and let him keep the change.

It was a nice great gesture by Gronkowski, and CBS Sports' Will Brinson was there to capture the moment.

Gronk has plenty of cash to spare, as he signed a six-year, $54 million contract extension prior to the 2012 season, though he did reportedly drop $1.6 million on a mansion in Tampa.

But if he needs a personal lemonade vendor for it, he knows where to go.
