Gronkowski Fined For Spike
BOSTON (CBS) -New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was so excited after his second touchdown against the New York Jets last Sunday, it's now going to cost him.
Gronkowski was fined $7,500 on Friday for his emphatic spike during the Patriots 37-16 win.

After scoring on a beautiful acrobatic catch in the third quarter, Gronk sent ball to the ground near Jets cornerback Donald Strickland. Gronkowski drew a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct on the play, but said earlier this the week it would not keep him from doing it again. This time with even more force.

"No, I'm going to make them bigger," Gronk said with a laugh on Wednesday. "Bring down my spikes? Those weren't even that big."
