Gronkowski, Bennett Try To Come Up With Nicknames On Social Media
BOSTON (CBS) -- Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett are showing early glimpses of becoming a dangerous duo for the Patriots on the field.
And off of it, they're showing just how much fun they can have, too.
After having a great day on the practice field on on Sunday, the pair of tight ends took to Instagram to try to come up with a nickname for themselves.
Gronkowski, still riding high off his on-stage appearance with Paul McCartney a few weeks back, posted a picture of himself and Bennett celebrating a touchdown, captioned "Ebony and Ivory."
Not to be outdone, Bennett submitted his own idea for a nickname: "Feeling like Ken and Ryu. Hadouken!!"
There you have it. You can either go with the classic McCartney and Stevie Wonder collaboration, or two of the popular characters from the classic video game "Street Fighter."
While the nickname is still up in the air, it's fairly clear that these two are going to have a blast both on and off the football field.
