More Troopers On Hand For Patriots Vs. Giants In New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey State Police say there is no credible threat in the state after the deadly Paris attacks but there will be more troopers at the Giants game in East Rutherford.

Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn said Sunday the exact number of troopers is not available because of safety concerns. The Giants kick off against the Patriots at 4:25 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.

Police said earlier they were learning more about the tactics used in the attacks and are applying that information to improve their plans.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police spokesman Joe Pentangelo also says the department is on heightened alert.

Officials say people should remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to police.

The attacks on Friday killed at least 129 people.
