Patriots LB Freeny Out; WR Edelman Doubtful For Game Against Jets
BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots will be without linebacker Jonathan Freeny and possibly wide receiver Julian Edelman for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
Freeny, who is dealing with a hand injury, didn't practice on Friday, while Edelman (foot) was a limited participant, according to the The wideout is listed as doubtful.
Eight Patriots are listed as questionable, including wide receivers Danny Amendola and Brandon LaFell, tight end Scott Chandler, and offensive lineman Josh Kline. On defense, three safeties (Patrick Chung, Nate Ebner, Devin McCourty) and linebacker Dont'a Hightower were limited participants on Friday.
Defensive end Chandler Jones and cornerback Justin Coleman are poised to play, as both are listed as probable.
For the Jets, defensive back Dee Milliner may be at risk to miss the game, as he is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Quincy Enunwa, who has a neck injury, is listed as questionable for the AFC East tilt.
