Patriots Fans Thrilled After Bounce-Back Win
FOXBORO (CBS) - Fans coming out of Gillette Stadium late Sunday night said the place was absolutely rocking as the Patriots picked up a big win.
It was a marked difference after last week's blowout loss in Kansas City.
It seemed like just last week some fans were ready to give up on Tom Brady but Monday they were telling a totally different story.
"It was a terrific game! It was just great to see Brady come back the way he did," said Edgar Carrere, who is a Saints-turned-Patriots fan.
"You know you just don't see that many teams bounce back after a loss like that."
After a week of harsh criticism and rumors about a Brady-Belichick feud following the loss, the star QB showed up to win Sunday night.
He got help from his teammates too.
Some fans seemed to give up on the team after a disappointing start to the season.
Sunday was a different story.
The fans showed up at Gillette and they were loud.
After his performance and big win, fans were were quick to get behind Tom Brady.
"I think that tensions were high. I think you have such a great team who's done so well and we're not used to seeing them do so poorly," said Patriots fan Nicole Gavin.
"I'm not giving up on them. I trust Belichick, he hasn't steered us wrong yet. And I think that Brady has a few good years left in him."
Many fans Sunday night and Monday agreed that the team looked good.
