Patriots Fans Confident Ahead Of Showdown With Texans
FOXBORO (CBS) - Patriots fans are confident heading into Sunday's showdown with Texans.
At the Patriots Pro Shop at Patriot Place fans bought hats, earring and shirts, preparing for a good long playoff run.
But nearby at the Renaissance Hotel, some Houston fans were checking in decked out in head to toe in their team's gear.
"Are you going to wear that Texans gear everywhere you go in Boston?" asked WBZ. "Yes ma'am I am!" replied a confident Beth Puryear. She and her husband Jim believed they came to see a win.
"Oh, we'll win," Jim said. "It's our turn.
At the TD Garden, Boston fans prepared to watch the Celtics take on the Houston Rockets. The start of a weekend of total New England domination of Houston, they said. The Celtics beat the Rockets 103-91.
"We're going to have to come in and dominate one city at a time, but that's how we roll here it Title Town," Dan Brown said.
You can understand the swagger. The last time the Pats met the Texans it was a blow out. This time, Patriots fans expect a closer win.
"I think they'll win by two touchdowns, that's the general consensus," said a fan rocking a three time Super Bowl champs baseball cap. He said he was anxious to add a fourth.
