Patriots Draft Rutgers CB Logan Ryan With 83rd Overall Pick
BOSTON (CBS) - The Patriots addressed a defensive need with their first pick in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, taking Rutgers cornerback Logan Ryan 83rd overall.
Scouts say the 5-11, 191-pound Ryan has good size and strength for the position and is strong at man coverage. While he can get physical at the line of scrimmage, one of the knocks on Ryan is he can be a little too over-aggressive in the open field.
