BOSTON (CBS) -- WBZ-TV's Levan Reid passes along some news and notes ahead of Sunday's Patriots-Dolphins showdown at Gillette Stadium.
- With a win over the Dolphins the Patriots will win their sixth straight division title. It will be their 14th division crown since Robert Kraft purchased the team in 1994.
- The Patriots have now reached 10 regular season wins for 12 straight years.
- New England has not been swept in a season series by a division opponent since 2000, when they lost both of their games to the Jets and Dolphins.
- Since 2001, the Pats are 65-18 against AFC East opponents. That's the best intra-division record of any team in the NFL.
- This will be the 99th meeting between the Pats and the Dolphins, with Miami holding a 52-46 series edge.
- The Patriots enter this week with 16 straight home wins against AFC East opponents.
- The Pats have swept their season series with the Dolphins nine times.
- Since Bill Belichick has been the head coach in New England, the Pats are 18-11 against the Dolphins.
- Tom Brady is 17-8 against Miami and 11-1 in home games against the Dolphins.
- Brady is 46-7 in the month of December, which is the best record in December among quarterbacks with at least 20 starts.
- Since 2000, the Pats are an NFL-best 52-9 in December.
