'Patriots Day' Movie Recreating Ortiz's 'This Is Our F---ing City' Speech
BOSTON (CBS) -- 'Patriots Day,' the upcoming movie about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, will reenact Red Sox slugger David Ortiz's "This is our f---ing city" speech--with Big Papi himself--according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday that the scenes recreating Ortiz's iconic speech to fans, given one day after the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, will not be filmed at Fenway Park. It will instead be shot in a hangar at the South Weymouth Naval Air Station, where scenes featuring the marathon bombings were filmed last month.

Dorchester's Mark Wahlberg, who filmed scenes for the movie at the finish line of the real Boston Marathon last month, will star as a composite character based on several people involved in the response to the bombings.
The film will also star John Goodman, Kevin Bacon, Michelle Monaghan, and J.K. Simmons.
Patriots Day is being produced by WBZ's sister company CBS Films. A release date for the film has been set for Dec. 21 for theaters in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, before a wider release on Jan. 13, 2017.
