Patriots, Buccaneers To Hold Joint Practices In Preseason
BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots announced Friday that they will hold a joint practice with the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay next month prior to the two teams' August 24 preseason game.
The Pats and Bucs will practice together on August 22 and 23. Both sessions will be closed to the public.

Their August 24th tilt will be the third preseason game for each team, viewed as the most important game of the preseason.

This will be the second joint practice of the preseason for New England, as the Pats and New Orleans Saints will practice together at Gillette Stadium prior to their preseason opener on August 9. The Patriots and Saints also held a joint practice in 2009, with Bill Belichick calling them some of the best practice sessions the team had that summer.
