Patriots-Broncos Stays A 4:15 Game
BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos game in Week 15 will remain a 4:15pm start on CBS, instead of flexing to an 8:20pm broadcast on national TV.
With quarterback Tim Tebow at the helm, the Broncos have won five straight and six of their last seven. Denver sits atop the AFC West at 7-5.
Decisions about changing games normally comes on Tuesdays, but CBS and NBC were reportedly each fighting over one of the better matchups on the schedule that week.
There had been talk of the game moving for weeks, but none of it concerned Patriots head coach Bill Belichick when asked about it on Wednesday.
"I'm worried about the Washington game. I don't really care about it," he said of possibly being flexed to the prime time spot. "When they tell us to play, we're going to show up and play the game. When it happens, it happens. Right now, I'm worried about Washington."
The Ravens-Chargers game remains in the prime time slot that night.
Patriots-Broncos can be seen on WBZ-TV and heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub at 4:15pm on Sunday December 18. Pregame coverage beings on WBZ-TV at 11:30am on Patriots Gameday, and at 1:00pm on The Sports Hub.
