Brady, Lloyd Relationship An Ongoing Process
BOSTON (CBS) - Ever since training camp the ongoing conversation -- when it comes to the passing game -- has been how long it will take for Tom Brady and Brandon Lloyd to get on the same page.
Well, eight regular season games in it is still a work in progress, but it's better than many people thought.
Brady sees the relationship as day-to-day.
"I hope it keeps getting better," Brady said this week. "We just keep working at it, so we go out there in practice and we work on things and Coach tells us things that we need to do better. We're always trying to make those improvements. I don't think you can ever stop improving. I just think you just have to keep going out there to work at it and see if it can be better each day."

To his credit, Lloyd has done the work. Throughout training camp he stayed after practice with Brady for one-on-one drills, and often finds himself in the film room with #12 for some QB-Receiver video breakdown.
To this point in the season, Lloyd has caught 37 passes for 435 yards and three touchdowns. One of those touchdowns came in the Patriots Week 4 win over the Bills.

But even Lloyd feels, there's still work to be done.
"It's an ongoing process," said Lloyd . "I think I said earlier in the springtime that I don't think this year we're going to be at a point where we're like, all right, we've got it made, because we still have so much work to do. And we're working hard to improve on that week-by-week and day-by-day. It's a group effort, and that's what we're moving forward with."

Whatever the case, this 85 is much better than the last 85 that tried to catch passes from Brady.
