Patriots Blog: Training Camp Has Arrived
BOSTON (CBS) -- The day has arrived.
The New England Patriots open their 2014 training camp on Wednesday, as veterans report to Gillette Stadium.
I guess we can call today camp orientation, as Bill Belichick will kick things off by addressing the media at 8:30 a.m. (you can hear that live on 98.5 The Sports Hub or streaming live on CBSBostonsports.com). He'll be followed by three players, Logan Mankins, Devin McCourty and Rob Ninkovich -- all captains from last season's squad.
Coach will be pumped; he's always ready for the start of camp. Every year is a new year, but the goal always remains the same. It's Superbowl or bust.
However, the concerns are many.
How will Gronk look? In fact, when will Gronk be available??? How will Vince Wilfork look? Will the young wide receivers flourish in a second year in the system?
There's a new offensive line coach, so how will that change the protection in front of Tom Brady?

Legarrette Blount is gone, so will Stevan Ridley finally break the fumbling curse and be what the Pats and the fans think he can be??
How much will Darrelle Revis improve the Pats defense??
There are a lot of questions as we enter camp, and there will probably be more before the season starts.

It's good to get this all out in the open though, and maybe answers will come sooner than later.
