- A Pats win over Buffalo and Bill Belichick will further cement himself in NFL history. He will become the first coach to have five regular season with 13 or more win.

- Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien has emerged as a leading candidate for the Penn State coaching job. Word is if Tennessee head coach Mike Munchak turns them down, then they will turn to O'Brien. This is Bill's first season as the Pats offensive coordinator after spending the two previous seasons as the Pats quarterback coach. Now if he chooses to leave, don't be surprised if the Pats welcome back old friend Josh McDaniels to take over that role.

- Miami's Jason Taylor has announced that he is retiring after Sunday's game against the Jets. Taylor has had a solid career and got after the quarterback with the best of them. The one thing that Tom Brady and Matt Light said about Taylor leaving is "thank god." Jason has giving both of them trouble over the years, so consider that high praise.
