Patriots Blog: Pats Prepare For Jets Rushing Attack
FOXBORO (CBS) - As the Pats get ready for another match-up against the Jets, the home team is priming themselves for what they feel will be a ground attack.
The last time they played, New York opened the game by going no huddle. That didn't work, so hand-offs should be the theme of the afternoon.
"They're known for pounding the rock, the offensive line is known for being physical," defensive lineman Vince Wilfork said Thursday. "They're built for playoff games."
"That's the biggest thing about this week – having a tough attitude towards the run," outside linebacker Rob Ninkovich said.
The Pats are real thin along that defensive line, so running the ball could possibly give them a problem. We will see on Sunday.
