BOSTON (CBS) -- While eight playoff teams battle it out this weekend, the Patriots will be resting. Here are some notes on the bye week.

Robert Kraft (21) needs one more postseason win to tie Eddie DeBartolo Jr. for the fourth most wins by an ownership group.

Tom Brady (43) needs three more postseason touchdown passes to move past Joe Montana and Brett Favre for the all-time lead.
Shane Vereen finished with 52 catches on the season -- the most receptions by a Patriots running back since Kevin Faulk had 58 in 2008.
The Pats finished the season by going six straight games without allowing a second-half touchdown.
This is the ninth bye for the Patriots since 2001, the most by any NFL team in that timespan.
The Pats defense finished the season by allowing opponents only 19.6 points per game. That's the ninth season since 2001 in which they've allowed fewer than 20 points.
New England finished 2014 as the top-ranked red zone offense. In 67 trips in the red zone, they scored 39 touchdowns and 22 field goals for 338 points.
The Pats had five games this season where they scored 40 points or more. That ties a franchise record.
Rob Gronkowski reached 1,000 receiving yards for the the second time in his career. He's the ninth tight end to have at least two career seasons of 1,000 receiving yards.
The Pats blocked five total kicks in 2014.
