Patriots Blog: Injured Koppen Visits Team
FOXBORO (CBS) - It was a good sight in the Patriots locker room Wednesday as injured center Dan Koppen made an appearance.
Koppen, out for the season with a broken left ankle, caught up with his teammates and looked pretty good. It was his first day off crutches, and he says he is just happy to be around the guys.

The nine-year veteran says he is taking it slow and listening to the doctors, and expects to be back next season.
"This is a minor bump in the road. We'll be back and hopefully I'll be here," said Koppen. "I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I'm enjoying where I'm at right now, rooting these guys on, hoping they have a great season. We'll deal with that later."
Koppen broke his ankle in the Patriots season opener against Miami. He had to undergo surgery and was placed on the injured reserve on September 21.
