Patriots Blog: Hernandez Taking It 'Day-By-Day'
FOXBORO (CBS) - New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was in the locker room on Wednesday and says he's working hard to get back on the field.
"I just take it day-by-day, and work with the trainers, and try to get back as soon as possible," he said, not specifying if he'd practice on Wednesday. "We'll just take it day-by-day and see how it feels."

The second-year tight end missed Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills after suffering and MCL injury in Week 2 against the Chargers. Reports had him out anywhere from 1-2 weeks to 4-6 weeks.

So far in 2011, Hernandez has 14 receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
